Collection Overview: NCALM logo This lidar dataset was collected as part of an NCALM Seed grant for Edward Williams at the University of Maryland. This dataset was collected to help search for the topographic expression of lava tubes in a region where they are particularly abundant, the Lava Beds National Monument in California.

Dataset Acknowledgement: Lidar data acquisition and processing completed by the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (NCALM). NCALM funding provided by NSF's Division of Earth Sciences, Instrumentation and Facilities Program. EAR-2324629
