Collection Overview:
PI: Greg Valentine, University at Buffalo. NSF Project: The survey area is defined by a rectangular polygon located in Nevada, about 110 kilometers east of Tonopah. The polygon had a planned surface area of 366.64 km˛. The survey took place from June 30, 2012 through July 3, 2012. The data were collected to investigate controls on magma ascent and eruption at the Lunar Crater Volcanic Field, a mafic intraplate volcanic field.
