Collection Overview: PI: Greg Valentine, University at Buffalo. NSF Project: The survey area is defined by a rectangular polygon located in Nevada, about 110 kilometers east of Tonopah. The polygon had a planned surface area of 366.64 kmē. The survey took place from June 30, 2012 through July 3, 2012. The data were collected to investigate controls on magma ascent and eruption at the Lunar Crater Volcanic Field, a mafic intraplate volcanic field.Publications associated with this dataset can be found at NCALM's Data Tracking Center
