The Oregon Department of Geology & Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) contracted with a vendor, Watershed Sciences, Inc (WSI) to collect high resolution topographic data for multiple areas within the Pacific Northwest. The Panther Creek 2015 project area was collected on June 18, 2015. The total area of delivered data equals 10.48 square miles (6,711 acres). Data was collected at a resolution of at least 8 pulses per square meter.
In addition to the processed lidar point data, a bare-earth digital elevation model (DEM) was also received by NOAA's OCM and is available through the Related Items section, below.
This data set is an LAZ (compressed LAS) format file containing LIDAR point cloud data.
