This dataset represents the Oregon LiDAR Consortium Silver Creek project area. The dataset encompasses 421,474 acres covering Crook County, Harney County and Harney County in Oregon. The nominal pulse density is eight pulses per square meter. The digital elevation model (DEM) and digital surface model (DSM) raster grid cell size is 3 feet. The intensity raster grid cell size is 1.5 feet. The native projection is Oregon Statewide Lambert, Lambert Conformal Conic, units are in international feet. The native horizontal datum is NAD83(2011) and the native vertical datum is NAVD88 (Geoid 12B). Quantum Geospatial Inc. collected the lidar and created this dataset for the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries (DOGAMI). OCM received 1,404 LAZ files from the Oregon Lidar Consortium and processed them to the Data Access Viewer (DAV) as well as html. Additionally, bare-earth DEM files are available and may be found in the Related Items section below. This data set is an LAZ (compressed LAS) format file containing LIDAR point cloud data.
