A link to the data report is provided in the URL section of this metadata record. LiDAR data acquisition occurred between July and October 2016. The Atlantic Group, LLC successfully completed lidar acquisition for the Fremont-Winema, Willamette, Deschutes, and Umpqua National Forests areas of interest (AOI). This metadata record describes the Cherry Creek project area in the Fremont-Winema National Forest which is a subset of the larger collection. The lidar for the larger AOI was acquired in fifty (50) flight missions completed on October 25th, 2016. The total project area encompasses 1,275,059 acres, 5,160 square kilometers or 1,992 square miles. This data set is an LAZ (compressed LAS) format file containing LIDAR point cloud data.
