OT Collection Name: Impact of Waterfall Formation on River Long Profiles, CA 2021
Short Name: CA21_Rothman
Collection Platform: Airborne Lidar
This lidar dataset was collected as part of an NCALM Seed grant for Sophie Rothman at the University of Nevada, Reno. This study used airborne lidar to assess how self-generation and retreat of bedrock steps and waterfalls can alter river profiles. The study area is along selected rivers within the Sierra Nevada mountains in California and covers approximately 73 km2.
Dataset Acknowledgement: Lidar data acquisition and processing completed by the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (NCALM). NCALM funding provided by NSF's Division of Earth Sciences, Instrumentation and Facilities Program. EAR-1830734.
