Collection Overview: The surveyed area covers 28.5 square kilometers of the Black Hills Experimental Forest, South Dakota. These LAS and associated files were collected by Horizon's Inc. of Rapid City, SD and processed by the USDA Forest Service in Moscow, ID. The purpose of the data collection is to use Lidar in support of natural resource research and management applications.
