LiDAR data in the form of 3-dimensional positions of a dense set of mass points was collected for the 141 square miles of area within the Snake River and Teton Ranges and Bridger-Teton National Forest. This data was used in the development of the bare-earth-classified elevation point data sets. This project was designed to provide a highly detailed ground surface dataset to be used for the development of topographic, contour mapping, and hydraulic monitoring.
