Surprise Valley is a seismically active geothermal area in the northwestern Basin and Range. Data were collected to create a high-resolution topographic base for correlation with an airborne magnetic survey (Glen), as well as to map and assess offset along Quaternary fault scarps (Egger). The survey took place in June of 2012. The DEM derived from the data has a resolution of 1 point per 0.5 m2. PIs: Jonathan Glen (USGS), Anne Egger (Central Washington University), Corey Ippolito (Carnegie Mellon University).Publications associated with this dataset can be found at NCALM's Data Tracking Center Dataset Acknowledgement: Lidar data acquisition and processing completed by the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (NCALM - https://ncalm.cive.uh.edu).
